Smiling Through the Pain

My aunt is reaching her last few days here... She's been fighting cancer for a few years now and the journey (not a pleasant one) is coming to an end. I don't see how anyone can smile. Her husband isn't helping and refusing to pay or anything and her oldest son is supporting the husband (who isn't even his real dad or step dad or anything) But, through it all she still smiles & it was truely a smile of sunshine.
I love you Aunt Mary.... Your strength,faith, and courage has always inspired me and I love you very much. I'm sorry that you had to go through all of this..Cancer is awful, but you fought with it, you kept it real... & Aunt Mary, you smiled. A smile of sunshine!

Schoolin' it w/ a smile of sunshine!

School has just recentley started and we have a few new kids on campus. One happens to be a little different, just a tad, they're a really good person and very nice. But, it seems that it doesn't matter. People stereotype people way to much. That's equal to judging.. which all in all, I think is absolutely ridiculous! Lol Anyways, barely anyone talks or waves or even says hi to the poor kid! They're younger than me and the only time I see them is between classes or during lunch but, I always go out of my way to say hi or ask how their day is going, ever since I realize how cruel some people can be. Today, the person came and sat by me. I was with some of my other friends and some idiot dudes that were behind me. I had just got done eating lunch and he came and cheerfully exclaimed, "They should of added more salt on that Sloppy Joe!" Lol :) And then they smiled really big, said hi, and asked me how my day was. Haha, well the dumb boys behind me, ofcourse, as all teenage boys do, laughed and was mumbling (loud enough for the poor kid to hear) about how stupid they are. That is truely a douche bag thing to do. The way that kid smiled, even though they knew people was making fun of them, moves me, and strikes me as a smile of sunshine. I had a nice conversation with that person at lunch today. & I had an even better one with the douche bag boys who were making fun of the kid after lunch was over. Turns out, "they didn't know the kid was different." Well... That's a perfect reason you shouldn't stereotype .. and don't judge a book by it's cover.. Don't judge at all.

Thank you God for another amazing smile of sunshine to brighten up my day and hopefully someone else's!

Well, I was fishing the other day..
I was worried about some stuff and
the person I was fishing with looked at me and smiled. & It
was like it was God's sign that life was going to be ok
and for me not worry and just stay strong.
I love it when God uses smiles to show me things.

Brightening Up The Storm With A Smile Of Sunshine. :)

So, it was raining and storming last week. We had tornado drill thingys twice & anyways, we were sitting in the oldest building hallway ever, so it seemed, waiting for it to be safe again, and for the teachers to give us leave. Everyone was grumpy, cold, & ofcourse hungry, bc I mean we are teenz and all. I was listening to music w/ J and being mean to T, & While watching everyone else moan and complain, there was one who kept good spirits, tried to make the best of it, and smiled...That person always seems to make me smile & Well, to me it was a smile of sunshine, in the middle of an ugly, gray, storm.

Thanks God for blessing me with another wonderful smile of sunshine,
I know that even though some things in life may seem grey, there is always a bright side, always something that still loves, still laughs, and still smiles.

Another Miracle! ;D

Great news!!
She got the results from the Doc!!!!
She doesn't have what they were so sure she had last time!!
The baby and her should both make it out healthy!!! :D

Yesterday,
My sister came over to tell us what the doctors said
at her last doctors appointment.
It turns out that she has an extremly large chance of having the baby Friday... One problem, they both might not make it. The doc seems to think one of them won't. I pray with all my heart that they both do, but that is not why I'm typing this. The doctor reccomended the possibility of not keeping the kid. My sister and brother-in-law say they ware going to keep the baby. She tells us this & she is still able to smile a little bit after.

That is a smile of sunshine!!!!

I love you God!
Please watch over my sister and her child through this, please give them the strength, courage, and love they need to both make it through this
alive. I love you Lord!!!!

Smiles of Sunshine:) - Yet, again. :)

Soo,
I was at an FFA Event today & there was a kid in a wheel chair, She didn't seem to have any problems other than the fact that she was in a wheel chair, anyways, she was sitting there all by herself, looking bored as a rock. So, I hate when people are by themselves, & I went to say hi, Kate and Mckayla looked at me as if I've lost it, but I couldn't just not say hi, besides her wheelchair was right in the sun, it was pretty hot outside today!!! So I go up there and I'm like hi, I'm Steph!! :) & I smile. She looks embarassed, but she asks me to bring her inside, she had a friend that was going to help her, but she never came back. I could tell she was a prideful person, and I felt a twinge of guilt and anger towards whomever left that girl sitting. There I said sure, no problem. & The smile she gave me was truly a smile of sunshine!!! :)

God you are wonderful!!
Thank you for blessing me with yet another great experience in my life. I thought I lost my faith, earlier this morning, I was extremly upset because I noticed that I hadn't thought about You, Lord, for a week! Well, that's done and over Lord!! I'm no longer distracted!! Now I can't get you outta my head! & I don't want to!! :)
